What is some good cheap restaurants in San Diego area?

I want to know some cool or new places to eat that I haven't been to in San Diego. I would like places mostly located in 4S Ranch area, Mira Mesa, PQ, and Poway area. Thanks for your help.



I am a College student on a College Student budget, which isn't that much since I work part-time.What is some good cheap restaurants in San Diego area?
Other than the obvious fast food places, Jalapenos in Carmel Mnt Ranch is great! Also in Carmel Mnt Ranch there is a place called Joey's Smokin BBQ that is pretty good.

Papa's Pizza in Poway is really good and Poway Sushi Lounge has an really good and inexpensive happy hour.

In Mira Mesa I have heard that Extreme Pita is very good (its like Pita Pit if you have been there).



Those are some of my favorites that ppl may not know about anyways.
I dont know about you but mexican is my favorite and usually mexican places are affordable! I will suggest trying out Acapulco Mexican Restaurant Cantina on 2467 Juan St. Maybe that will satisfy something you are lookin for and good luck!What is some good cheap restaurants in San Diego area?
pretty much any place you go....go at lunch. You will save 5-10 dollars per meal. When my husband and I were on our honeymoon we made lunch our big meal of the day. You will save a ton of money and also get tons more food for your buck!

2) Burger King

3) Wendy's

4) Taco Bell
Roberto's carne asada burritos got me thru college! Three rolled with guacamole never got old either.
two sites you should search www.yelp.com and www.tripadvisor.com both show how much the meals are and I swear by them both.
I would go with franchises like Olive Garden that have some inexpensive items on the menu.
