I am hoping for a ceremony on the sand, followed by a reception where we can access the beach to sit and hang out. I can't seem to find any private, or permit-able beach locations in San Diego where you can have both a ceremony and a reception, except for the hotels and restaurants with beach front locations. All the state beaches seem to not allow amplified music or glass, so, no party. Anybody know of anywhere like that?I'm looking for a beach wedding venue in San Diego, without going through a hotel?
Check out the beach area in front of the Hotel Del Coronado. The hotel claims to "own" a portion of the beach nearest the hotel but beyond that you should be good to go. Call them up and go scope it out. Very picturesque in the evenings when the famous hotel is all lit up ;)I'm looking for a beach wedding venue in San Diego, without going through a hotel?
You're going to need to contact the San Diego Chamber of Commerce.
I suspect you're going to have to go through a hotel.
