What are the most fun things to do in San Diego?

Hello!

I will go to San Diego only for 10 days and I want to Know what are the main things to do in this city (for young people) like museums, zoo, beaches, sports, festivals, good restaurants (please, an Argentinian restaurant!!) thank you!!What are the most fun things to do in San Diego?
Balboa Park to Museums

Cross over the bridge to Coronado . . .

San Diego Zoo

La Jolla shore is nice and if you want you can go down to the La Jolla Cove. Don't waste your time by blacks beach if you don't surf. It is a shore break and normally crowded.

Sunset cliffs (beach/cliffs/view) further out is Cabrio monument

Football season . . . Charger

Old Town

Sea World

Stroll around mission bay.

Tijuana if you wanna and venture down to the beaches.

Puerto La Boca Argentinian Steak House . . .

Pampas Bar and Grill . . .

I don't know how good the restaurants are, but in Augsburg, where I live today, we have an excellent Argentinian steak house. There are quite a few good steak restaurants in San Diego.

My favorite things to do are beach bonfires, kayaking through the La Jolla Caves, hiking at Torrey Pines, biking along the coast, bay cruises, Charger games, explore Balboa Park for great museums, restaurants, and other attractions (including the San Diego Zoo).

Browse the shops at Old Town and eat some freshly made tortilla. My favorite Old Town restaurant is Caf茅 Coyote y Cantina

Dine at George's Outdoor Terrace Bistro while the sun is setting for a spectacular show. Make reservations to time your dinner and ask for a table near the cove.

Take a short drive to the top of Mt. Soledad for a panoramic view of the coastline.

I don't know of any Argentinian restaurants but the places to go are the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park (has a collection of great museums and it's next to the zoo), San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach (a.k.a "PB"), Ocean Beach (a.k.a "OB"), La Jolla Shores, Fashion Valley Mall, University Town Center (another mall...this one has an ice skating rink), etc.

There's also Coronado Island, Seaport Village, and Old Town San Diego as well. Check out the Gaslamp Quarter for some fine dining and "club" atmosphere.
There are tons of fun things to do in SD, but beware most of those things are tourist traps and everywhere you go you will find people with cameras and sock and flip flops. For young people (I am assuming you mean teenagers?) I would suggest downtown or the beaches. There is a top of shopping, food, chill people, etc downtown and in Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Del Mar, etc. If you want to see some sports check out the Sports Arena where the hockey team plays (preseason right now) or Qualcomm where the Chargers play. There is also high school and college sports like SDSU among other colleges. The best place to check out museums is Balboa Park. It is near downtown san diego. They have a website which I would reccommend checking out because there is a certain day of the month that all the musesums are free. Have fun!
Before you do anything, take the Old Town Trolley Tour! That way you can see everything at once, exit the tour at whichever stop you choose and then re-enter the tour whenever you please. I took my in-laws on it and they LOVED it. You really get to see alot and then you can re-visit those places too.

I like the Old Town restaurants with the mariachi bands.

Gaslamp quarter downtown for nightlife.

You have to see the beach, of course. Go visit Mission Beach (Belmont Shores Park) to do the beach with activity too. Its like a mini amusement park. Or for scenic beaches do La Jolla Cove or Torrey Pines south of Solana Beach.

Theres so much to do. I could go on forever. Have fun. And bring your flip flop sandals!

Here is a link to the Old Town trolley tour. Remember to do this first!

There are a few beaches there, Blacks (nude beach), I think there's one called La Jolla. I went there and it was really nice. The water was warm and clear. There was absolutely no waves though. And it's not deep, so if you can't swim or afraid of waves that beach is great for you. I haven't been to any restaurants though, sorry. Try the zoo. Hope you have fun!

xoxo
