The Shout House is a Piano Bar and is lots of fun, no dancing though.

The Shout House is a great place for singing and socializing. You can do alot of dancing in your general area. I say its alot of fun, and great music (a little on the dirty side too).
As far as resturants depending on what kind of food you are looking for. But you can find all kinds in the Gaslamp. So you should be fine.
