Any good breakfast restaurant in Downtown San Diego and S. Cal?

Anybody knows any good breakfast restaurants in downtown San Diego? Preferrably, traditional family-owned and not franchise like Dannys or IHOP. Also, any good ones near the border of S. Cal, cities like Rowland Heights, Hacieda Heights, Chino Hills, Pomona or Fullerton?Any good breakfast restaurant in Downtown San Diego and S. Cal?
If it's still there, The Mission on Mission Blvd got my business every day I was in San Diego. Most excellent food! I couldn't recommend it highly enough for the food. The decor is on the homey side. Nothing fancy. But the food got my money every day I was there on numerous trips.
There are 4 results for Mission Restaurant in San Diego.....can you be more specific? The one on Mission Blvd is called Mission Cafe. Is this the one you mean? Or a specific address would also be helpful. Thanks. I'm headed to Richard Walker's for now.

Hash House a go go is great. No reservations though so the line can be long.
I live in Downtown San Diego and the following are my recommendations for breakfast in dtown San Diego:

1) Brians Eatery %26amp; Drinkery

826 6th Avenue

Shares the build with a Ramada Inn but not affliated with Ramada Inn.

Large potions. Excellent selections of food.

2) Richard Walker's Pancake House

520 Front Street
I love Cafe 222 in Downtown SD... very hip and family run.
