Can anyone recommend a good CA restaurant in San Diego close to the Bahia Resort?

If you're talking about walking distance, there isn't much.

If you have a car, Old Town is very close. I would recommend the Coyote Cafe in old town for Mexican food. The old Town mexican cafe is more popular with tourists but I think it is more expensive, more crowded, and not quite as good, although I think you'd be happy with both.

If you can drive 10 minutes you can get to my favorite restaurant, on Harbor Island: C-Level Lounge, attached to another GREAT (but much more expensive) restaurant called Island Prime. Both of these have seafood, salads, and wonderful steaks. The popovers served at Island Prime with jalapeno butter are addictive.

Another 10 minute drive takes you to Hillcrest, full of wonderful places: Celadon, the best Thai restaurant in San Diego, and very reasonably priced, Kemo Sabe, southwestern fare, and Corvette Diner, fun for kids and grown-ups alike. Can anyone recommend a good CA restaurant in San Diego close to the Bahia Resort?
what are you looking 4?
OK there is nothing close to Bahia other then Jack in the Crack. Now go down toward Sports Arena and go to Embers Bar and Grill. Now its not a "hang out" its a nice American Style restaraunt. My Friends had his reception there. Can anyone recommend a good CA restaurant in San Diego close to the Bahia Resort?
