The best *authentic* mexican restaurants you will find are little Taco shops, and then there's also Old Town. There are some good restaurants by the beach too.

If it is a chain sit-down restaurant it is most likely not authentic, it's usually americanized Mexican food and mediocre at best.

But my standards are higher than say... the average caucasian person, since I think the best Mexican food comes from my grandma in Mexico. That being said, there are some decent 'mexican' restaurants that aren't entirely authentic.



Visit Old Town, lots of choices to choose from, visitors love it.
