I am just about to move to san diego and I'm considering business opportunities one of whish is to open a take away fish and chip shop, this information will form part of my research :-)How many take away fish and chip restaurants are there in San Diego, California?
Not really any that I know of (assuming Long John Silver's doesn't count!), but there are many Irish and British pubs here which have fish and chips (not, however, take out). If you are interested in what I believe to be the best fish and chips in San Diego (and maybe just about anywhere) go to Shakespeare's Pub, which is just off Washington St. and just north of the 5. Not many at all! There was a great one in Pacific Beach but it recently closed. The best fish in chips in town Is the Point Loma seafood Company.. so that might tell you something.
