Downtown, in the Gas Lamp Quarters, there is a great bar called Dick's Last Resort. Just remember to take a bad attitude with you. You'll see why. There are lots of cool bars and clubs in the Gaslamp Quarter. The Shout House is always lots of fun. There are 2 dueling pianos, a young crowd with lots of audience participation.
Pacific Beach is another area with lots of fun places. Watch for clubs with Happy Hours for some great deals.
