What is THE most romantic restaurant in or around San Diego?

My husband and I are planning a trip to San Diego in the fall. We'll be celebrating our 1st anniversary so I'd like to treat him to a really romantic, unique anniversary dinner. It would be really nice if it was on or overlooking the beach because we both love the beach. That would be soooo nice....eat a wonderful dinner then take a romantic stroll on the beach. Any suggestions? Price doesn't really matter. We'll already be spending alot to go there! :) ha ha!What is THE most romantic restaurant in or around San Diego?

Pacifica's Del Mar. Although really a couple blocks from the beach, you can get a great ocean sunset view and their food is phenomenal.

I'd choose either Jake's in Del Mar, George's at the Cove in La Jolla, or Peohe's in Coronado.

All three are wonderful restaurants. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a window table - sunset if you can get it!

If you choose Peohe's, it's fun to take the Coronado ferry from downtown San Diego, and it drops you off right at the restaurant.

Trattoria Acqua has great views overlooking the beach at La Jolla. I LOVE going there. It's right off of Prospect Street, the main street in La Jolla, with all of the art galleries and shops. I would definitely look it up and check it out. The food is SO good!
The restaurant at Tower 23 or the rooftop restaurant at the Ivy Hotel.
Pacifica del Mar en Del Mar California or Pamplamousse by the racetrack in Del Mar.
The Marine Room in La Jolla is beautiful, old-school romantic, oceanfront dining. The ocean side wall is glass so you can watch the waves crash on the sand. Incredible food, awesome view-have fun!!!
