Best cheap (college student priced) restaurants in San Diego?

I've compiled a list of restaurants in the San Diego area that people have recommended on the internet. The list is in no particular order and I've never ate at these restaurants. That being said, I was hoping that people would be able to recommend the must-eat restaurants from this list. I guess my maximum price for food is $15. Thanks!

I would go to Leucadia Pizzeria (not on list) but best teriyaki pizza ever. Mango iced tea is awesome also.Best cheap (college student priced) restaurants in San Diego?
Sombreros for killer burritos! They're all over San Diego. In Tijuana there's a guy that sells the BEST tamales for $1, he hangs out just past the entrance into Mexico, past the revolving 'doors'.
Must Eat DZ if you want a lot for a little money..Try the Half soup and sandwich (half a sandwich is like a whole one)
thai taste is the one I'd recommend.

Okay, here's my short list:

Phil's BBQ - THE BEST, always a line! Not to pricey



Corvette Diner - 50's style, cute, good burgers, free entertainment, be prepared to have things tossed at you (straws, bubblegum, etc)



Hodad's - surfer vibe, Great food and prices



Sipz - vegetarian, ok prices, creative food - NO meat



St. Tropez - great for breakfast %26amp; lunch, best pastries



Rei Do Gado - pricey, all you can eat, LOTS %26amp; LOTS of meat, but very good



Not on the list

Nicky Rotten's (won best SD bar), Great burgers



Dick's Last Resort - great drinks, interesting atmosphere, good for getting a little wild (at least on the weekends)
Point Loma Seafoods is, hands down, one of the best places I've ever eaten. Their regular fish sandwich is awesome and it is 6 or 7 dollars. The atmosphere is a fish-market with a dining area with picnic areas.



Rubio's is also great - the fish tacos are wonderful and they have locations everywhere!!!
Corvette Diner FOR SURE! It's my all time favorite. I love the atmosphere and the food is AMAZING. Try the Rory Burger. Only if you like peanut butter though. :) It's a great place to go with friends. Have fun!
