Can anyone reccommend a great restaurant in San Diego?

I am going down there from Sacramento with my mom and my wife. It's my mom's birthday and I was looking for a hidden treasure.

Anthony's Fish Grotto is a must! fresh seafood with a fantastic view! definitely check it out...

Check out a restaurant called Spread. It's kinda pricey but very good. The menu changes daily depending on the produce they find at the local farmer's market. See sample menus at:

Its called The Brew house at Eastlake

its a great place to go to eat, and drink beer.

BUT, its a very high high class restaurant, bar, and brewry.

Georges at the cove, upstairs over looking the ocean in La Jolla. That is if it is a nice day.
