Where is there a really good AUTHENTIC JAPANESE restaurant in San Diego?

I don't care for sushi, but would like to try some non-commercialized Japanese Food. Most places focus on Sushi or have "Asian" food, but I want to try some REAL Japanese food. Any Suggestions?Where is there a really good AUTHENTIC JAPANESE restaurant in San Diego?

and very entertaining, great food with good prices. The are located down in Mission Valley area south of the 805. sushi deli on broadway between 11th and 10th I think is really good. They have some great cooked dishes, and are insanely cheap... hope you enjoy!
