Would like to avoid obvious choices (Donovans, RuthChris) and hordeously expensive (Gaslamp, Mr. A's)



Its for our 1st anniversary and would like something fairly quiet and romantic

check out the bali hai at shelter island. it has a romantic view of san diego bay and its inexpensive.
Try Cardiff by the Sea - the Chart House, Charlie's and the Beach House are all on the water and really romantic, yummy, and great choices!
Soleil @ K - San Diego Marriott Gaslamp is my favorite restaurant down there. Very romantic, great service, excellent food. Then go to the Altitude Skybar %26amp; Garden Lounge (top floor) for a drink with a beautiful view.
