Great DATE?! What restaurant, in San Diego CA?! Help?

I finally got the guy of my dreams to ask me on a

date :] He told me to pick a place to go out for lunch,

Here in San Diego California! I was wondering if

you knew of any great restaurants for a lunch date?!!

I need something with a warm, good atmosfear

as well as zesty foods but nothing to pricey?!



Anyone have any idea's or suggestions?!

Here are a couple of suggestions:

1) in OB, try the south beach bar and grill, on the ocean-end of Newport Ave. The Mahi tacos are delicious, and like others have suggested, you could go for a walk on the beach afterwards. You have to be at least 21 at night to get in, but I think you can get in at lunch if you're younger. Lunch is quite affordable, probably less than $10 a person.

2) in Mission beach, world famous has nice sandwiches and salads, and also offers nice people-watching, and outdoor seating. Entrees average about $9-10

3) For a really special lunch, try the C-level lounge on Harbor Island. The outside seating is right on the water overlooking the harbor. The prices here are a little higher ($14 entrees average), but the view and the food is unparalleled.

4) Miguel's, either on Pt. Loma or on Coronado Island, is pretty decent. The Jalapeno White Sauce served with the chips, is really great. Prices are mostly less than $10.
A good lunch date place...go down to OB, there are a bunch of cute restaurants that are a good price range. One in particular, I think on Newport, Mexican restaurant..forget the name. Then after lunch you can take a stroll along the water which is 1 block away. Perfect San Diego Sunday!Great DATE?! What restaurant, in San Diego CA?! Help?
Try The Green Flash Restaurant in PB.. It's on the boardwalk, you can sit outside on their dining patio and people watch while having lunch. The prices are great and the food is excellent!

It's also on the boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Both are excellent restaurants. The Locals love it!

I agree- green flash is awesome! what about moondoggies? anything in old town for mexican is super and has charm and atmosphere to boot.
The Cosmopolitan in Old Town is great. Good prices and great food.
