I will be driving down CA Route 1 (Pacific Highway) from San Fran to San Diego. We have 6 days to do it. What are the best places to stop at along the way? Key attractions, beaches, sights, cities, restaurants?What are the best places to stop at when driving from San Fran to San Diego?
OMG! You HAVE to drive through Big Sur...it is the most beautiful place in the whole country!!! On the way there you can also visit the Santa Cruz boardwalk, Monterey Bay, Carmel and take the 17 mile drive through Pebble Beach. Its so beautiful...make sure you have a camera!
