Good restaurant in san diego county for Prom dinner? but no fancy food, prefer regular "teen" food.?

Yeah i'm in charge of finding a restaurant for my prom group, which will be 35 of us. so i need to find one soon and call them up.

but yeah whats a good restaurant in san diego?? we live in north county, and our prom is down in san diego so we have to go from one side of the county to the other. so were looking for one in north county or san diego city or any a long the bay.

we want a nice fancy-ish restaurant but that has regular food. nothing too fancy where i will get my dinner and i will see a face made out of my food. hahah.

anyway yeah if you guys could help.

give me a couple different restaurants to check out.

and remember, the girls will probably be eating a light meal.

I'd say don't waste your time with a fancy-ish place. we did that for our prom a few yrs ago and it wasnt all that fun. we could barely pronounce the food, felt like we had to whisper the whole time, and after the dress shoes tickets makeup limo etc...it ended up being a very expensive couple hours. i'd say go to a fun place... somewhere with karaoke or like corvette diner. its fun gets everyone relaxed and in a good mood for prom



but if you do insist on going to a nicer type place I'd say jakes or market restaurant in del mar. or also jacks la jolla.

Steakhouses are a little expensive. Try the Corvette Diner.
