Market in Del Mar...the chef was just named the best in SD, flawless

Blanca in Del Mar...superb

Nobu downtown of course (not to be confused with Del Mar location)

Steakhouse would be Greystone Downtown

Kensington Grill in Kensington

Red Pearl Kitchen chinese downtown...great for cocktails and tasting



All except Red Pearl and probably Kensington Grill are $$$$ but well worth it.


Three words Ruth's Chris's Steakhouse! Definitely make a reservation and get a window seat if at all possible! just about everything on their menu is great! When my husband and I go we typically spend about $120 -$180 this includes an appetizer meal and one desert a glass of wine coffee and tip.
