Date Ideas in San Diego,Ca?

I need help coming up with date ideas. I'm always blank when it comes time for me to pick a date. Any cool places or things to do as in restaurants, beaches, museums, or locations Blockbuster nite...could be in San Diego LA or even Mexico ... I am clueless when it comes to anything other than In %26amp; Out and a movieDate Ideas in San Diego,Ca?
Drive to Ocean Beach

Walk down Newport to "Hodad's" for awesome burgers and fries, or pick up Mexican Food at Nico's, or BBQ across from Hodads.

Walk out onto the pier, to the very end, and look all the way to La Jolla and Sunset Cliffs on a clear day.

Stop to talk with at least one fisherman on the way, and ask him if he will teach you how to bait a hook.

Look down at the surfers in the water...maybe you should bring your camera for lasting memories.

Stop at Bud's Ice Cream on the way back on Newport, then go to Pacific Shores Lounge, the best dive bar in the world (with Mermaids on the wall and flourescent paint!)

My father met my step mother there in 1954! I was 18 months old, and my mother had left four kids with Dad.

They (Dad and Step Mom) remained married till the day she died in 1986.
1. Watch the fireworks from Sea World while enjoying an intimate bonfire on a San Diego beach.

2. Share a spectacular sunset with the person you love.

3. Take an evening kayak journey under the stars.

4. Bicycle along the coast.

5. Cuddle together in a horsedrawn carriage touring the waterfront.

6. Cruise the Bay for romance on the water.

7. Ride a gondola while snuggling and sipping wine.

8. Enjoy a stroll on the beach.

9. Picnic at Balboa Park and explore this park hand-in-hand.

10. Hike to a swimming hole and swim under the waterfall.Date Ideas in San Diego,Ca?
While I was living in San Diego, I enjoyed Extraordinary Desserts. http://www.extraordinarydesserts.com/
Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant in Del Mar, California. Awesome food and amazing view.
Old Town in San Diego is a great idea for a date! There are restaurants there as well as shops and stuff. The whole place is a historical landmark here in San Diego.

Also try Balboa Park. It has several museums and on Sundays, the International Cottages open up and give people samples of international goodies (the organ pavillion opens up on Sundays, too I believe).

There are lots of places to do dates. The San Diego Zoo is located right next to Balboa Park. There's also Sea World, the San Diego Wild Animal Park in Escondido, and a few surrounding shopping malls too.
Art galleries and museums. There are about a million of them, for whatever your taste is. Check the listings in the Reader or CityBeat for the best bets each weekend. Generally gallery openings are free, and often they are full-out events with live music, food, etc. Try Ray at Night in North Park, the second Sat. of each month, Kettner Nights in Little Italy, Culture %26amp; Cocktails at the SD Museum of Art, the A List at the Athenaeum... there are so many!! Some also have film nights, like the Museum of Photographic Art and MCA.
Hey Mali, I'm just finishing a rework of my website to focus on local date ideas around San Diego. Take a look, there are 100+ ideas in the database already with photos, driving directions, costs, and anything else you need to do them.
Go to Balboa park. You can eat at one of the restaurants there, go to the rose gardens, hit up a museum or catch an IMAX movie or play at the Old Globe.

My absolute favorite place!
