Date Ideas in San Diego,Ca?

I need help coming up with date ideas. I'm always blank when it comes time for me to pick a date. Any cool places or things to do as in restaurants, beaches, museums, or locations Blockbuster nite...could be in San Diego LA or even Mexico ... I am clueless when it comes to anything other than In %26amp; Out and a movieDate Ideas in San Diego,Ca?

Dinner and Drinks at the Beach House

Shopping and dinner at 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica- go to pier after

Lobster dinner in Puerto Nuevo in Mexico (need passports now)

Lunch at Garcias in Carlsbad then walk around downtown

Birch Aquarium

Balboa Park

Venice Beach in LA

The Getty Museum in LA

Drive out to Palm Springs for the day

Old town San Diego has some great authentic Mexican restaurants and shopping. Also check out the Waley house. Its very haunted and they give tours.Date Ideas in San Diego,Ca?
If you like hanging out, talking at a coffee house/bookstore......the Upstart Crow is inside Seaport Village, dowtown San Diego. You can also walk by the water side, towards the back of the Convention Center where you can chill.
Ocean Beach is a great place for a date. There are all kinds of things to do down Newport Avenue. There are shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ice-cream parlor. You can have dinner, then play some pool and afterwards, you can walk to end of Newport Avenue, where the pier is. Grab a coffee or ice-cream and take a walk down the pier for the end of a great date.
walking around seaport village and dinner in gaslamp district is always fun. If you like the bar scene jbar in hotel solamar and altitude on the roof of the gaslamp marriott have great views and cool atmospheres
This will work if you're old enough to drink:

Go down to Ocean Beach, drive all the way out Newport Avenue, and park. Go into the South Beach Bar %26amp; Grill for a beer and the BEST Grilled Mahi Tacos in the world! Then, take a walk way out the pier, or along the boardwalk, or just around OB - it's such a nice eclectic area.



If you're younger than that, how about the Corvette diner up in Hillcrest, followed by one of the more unusual movies at the theater just across the street.

There is so much to enjoy in SD! I highly recommend getting a day pass for Balboa Park to enjoy the museums. Then there is Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma if you enjoy unspoiled landscape along the ocean...great spot for photos! Old Town San Diego is a nice place to go too. Lots of great restaurants, historic areas, and shopping. Seaport Village is always a nice visit too. You can check out signonsandiego.com for local events as well. One thing I always enjoyed was checking out the seals at the children's pool in La Jolla. There are plenty of great lunch and dinner spots there as well. If you like live music, check out Coyote's in Carlsbad. It is in "the village" of Carlsbad off Grand Ave. Great place for southwest cuisine, live music, and great drinks. There is also a great coffee place in Carlsbad called Cafe Elise. They have some amazing desserts! Both the Coyote (not to be confused with Coyote Bar and Grill in Old Town) and Cafe Elise have multiple fire pits on their outdoor patios to keep warm while enjoying the outdoors. Of course, from December till April there are whale watching trips out of San Diego too. Oh yes...I almost forgot...if you want to spend a weekend or an overnight somewhere, take the boat to Catalina Island! It's a lovely escape from the city. Quaint, quiet, sightseeing tours, good places to eat. Very romantic!

San Diego is such a beautiful places with a lot to do. A lot of people think about Old Town when they hear San Diego. There`s a bunch of places to go, and visit. It`s a tourist attraction, but it`s fun. They have excellent mexican restaurants, there`s one mexican restaurant (i forgot the name..) but it`s so good! it`s not like mexican-american food, it`s real mexican food! and the place looks beautiful. and balboa park is good to visit too. Since California is mostly known for it`s beaches, La Jolla Shores is beautiful, and it`s not super crowded a lot of the time. if you like doing a tourist kind of thing, and you`re into religious stuff. you should go to san diego mission de alcala, it`s california`s first mission. the art museum in balboa park is nice. umm, walking through mira mesa is nice. that one mira mesa mall (but not THE mira mesa mall) but the mira mesa parkway is nice to shop at, there`s a movie theatre, pat%26amp;oscars, islands, pier1 imports, ross, old navy, barnes%26amp;noble, buca di beppo, bath%26amp;body works, and other stores. buca di beppo is GOOD italian food. i highly recommend it. i think la jolla village square is nice too to shop, but since your in la jolla, you might as well go to utc, great mall. okay, so i know it`s not much of 'date ideas' but hope this helps!
