My son is turning 2 on wednesday and while we aren't going to have a huge birthday party (we just moved here), we wanted to take him out to dinner, but somewhere thats kid friendly and maybe even does something cute for birthdays. Any suggestions or ideas?Kid Friendly restaurant in San Diego???

Go to corvette dinner. Your kid and you will love it.
bucco di beppo's, one in san marcos and downtown. very family oriented, family sized portions, and good italian food.
Corvette Diner would be your best choice. The atmosphere is great (it's a 50's diner) and the staff is friendly and I'm sure will be willing to make your son's b-day party a hit.
Is there a Chuck E Cheese or a Jokers in that area? I know McDonlads (used to) do b-day parties and might still.
Chuck E Cheese in Scripps Ranch is perfect for kids. They have pizza and a very cool place for kids to run around and play.
They have great birthday packages there. I've had my kids birthdays there.
