Can someone recommend a "hip" or I guess even "trendy" restaurant around the Fashion Valley area that has good atmosphere for a date. Looking for a good restaurant around Fashion Valley in San Diego to take a girl on a date to.

A new fancy steakhouse (i think its called Crosby) is opening this month right next to bloomingdales and across the street from cheesecake factory.
Marie Calendars near Macy's is pretty good. Or try PF Chang's at the east end of the center. If you go to the west end of Mission Valley Center there's Gordon Biersch on Mission Center Rd. Or you can head down 163 and take off on 6th, go west one block on University, turn right on 5th and hit the Corvette Diner. Kings has great food but the atmosphere isn't the best date place. Just head over a little ways to Old Town and hit one of the restaurants on San Diego Avenue!!! They have many great ones .. I especially like Zocalo, or on the less expensive side .. Old Town Mexican Cafe!
I love "Kings." It's got quite a variety of seafood, plus Italian and other ethnic foods.
PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory are def my favs!
