When we visited San Diego, my fiance surprised me with a dinner cruise. I believe it was about $35PP. You got a dinner selection to choose from when you book the cruise and the boat goes out for about 3 hours......it was beautiful.

Its not seaside, but I love Blue Point in the Gaslamp. Make a reservation first though.



Also, down in South Bay, there's this middle priced resturant right on bay called Galley at the Marina. Its a casual place that has music on Fridays. I like to go there on beautiful days, cause 80% of the tables are outside.
Ooh... well the Marine Room in La Jolla is very romantic specially when there is a high tide, but it can feel a bit to formal..... Bali at Paradise Point in Mission Beach is my personal favorite, food is ok, but the best thing about it is the ambiance, you can even walk around the resort afterwards and trust me your lucky date will fall in love with the place.
