Mister Sushi in Encinitas has GREAT sushi...they also have all-you-can-eat for $25...and all of the chefs are japanese. fresh fish, great service!
Up in north county, hands down, Katsu at 1020 San Marcos Blvd 760-744-7154 is the best and very reasonable. You have to try their volcano and dynomite but I've had pretty much everything on the menu and you cannot make a bad choice. YUMO
Sushi Itto in the Gaslamp Quarter!!! Yummy!
Hi, not sure where in San Diego you live, but in Pacific Beach The Tokyo House is good and when your done eating you can walk around the shops or walk to the beach or pier. The prices are good.
Tokyo House
980 Garnet Ave
(between Bayard St %26amp; Cass St)
I found that you get what you pay for. Onami's in Mission Valley is a GREAt sushi Buffet and if you go with someone who doesn't like Sushi they have hot food and salads. It's in the south side of the MissionValley Mall next to Macey's.
Hope I was some help!
Merry Christmas!!
Sushi Deli in downtown off of Broadway and there is also one in hillcrest off of Washington St West.
I used to work there and it is extremely cheap... So if youre into a lot of the specialty rolls for example a caterpillar roll is about $8.. But if youre into sashimi it self i wouldnt recommend this place for the best sashimi because no matter where you go sashimi is always expensive...The wait can be pretty damn long so just a warning...
Ginza. It's in national city, next to 5 for 10 and coldstone. Down the street from IHOP, sorry don't know exact street name.
