How will the San Diego Chargers do this year?

GOOD NEWS:

* We have the best running back in the game.

* We have the best tight end in the game.

* We have the best pass rushers in the game.

* We have the highest scoring offense in the game.

* We had the best record last year 14-2.

* We rebuilt our wide receiver core



BAD NEWS:

* We lost defensive coordinator Wade Phillips

* We lost offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.

* We lost Marty Shottenheimer (could be good news too!)

* We lost Donnie Edwards to KC (led the team in tackles)

* We have Norve Turner as our new head coach!



Looking at the schedule I personally think we have a shot at the Super Bowl. But it will be interesting to see if all the fairweather Charger fans with their #21 jerseys still show up to bars and restaurants on Sundays if we're 0-2 after potential losses to Chicago and New England! If we can go 2-0, I think it's ours to lose!How will the San Diego Chargers do this year?

Depth at all positions better than most in AFC.



This is now a "players" team vs. Marty's team. It is strictly up to the player leadership how well they will do. I believe it is now time for LT, Merriman, Phillip Rivers, and Antonio Gates to step up their locker room and field leadership roles and put the onus of this season on them vs. the new coaching staff. No more excuses. But they are ready. Merriman will be a player posssessed in that role.



Winning the Super Bowl... I can see it... I have no worries saying it.
Dude thanks.... And have no worries going 2-0 or 0-2. Those two teams back to back at the front end are vicious. Just hope the Chargers stay healthy and win those games in November and December. That's when the cream of the crop rises in the NFL.

How will the San Diego Chargers do this year?
As a San Diego fan myself I think the chargers will win the super bowl. I hate the fairweather fans in san diego also.
12-4 AFC West Championship
Chargers will get pass the 1st round in the playoffs. I say they will go 11-5 this season.
Losing twice to the Chiefs that is the only thing we know for sure this early in the offseason. If you think you have the best Tight End in the game you need to wake up, there is only one Hall of Fame tight end playing currently. A Tight End does need to know how to block just to let you know. Heap and Gates will be battling for the second best Tight End until TG retires sorry.
I think 12-4. Norv Turner is a good offensive coach, but he hasn't done too well as a HC.
9-7 (miss playoffs)



Coaching is most important in football then in any other sport. Just way too much turnover and such a drastic downgrade from Marty to Norv that it'll cost them dearly.
The will not win the AFC West title but they will be a wild card team. I dont think they will be in the Superbowl
10-6 Wild Card, loss in wild card round to Cincinatti.

Rivers 3500 yards, 18 touchdowns

Merriman 8 sacks

Defense ranked 12th



And if you are 0-2 there will be effigies of AJ Smith burning in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot!
they r gonna be the same old chargers. make it to the playoffs and then lose....

by the way, y do u keep asking the same old question. they willl not win it. and the only reason to that is the head coach.

norve turner sucks. he can never be a head coach.
umm ....i think the chargers will win 11-12 games lose to NE week 2 and lose to them again in the AFC Championship.
