What to do in San Diego in August after my boyfriend graduates from Marine boot camp??

I will be flying out to San Diego in August to watch my boyfriend's Marine graduation and he asked me to check for things to do around San Diego so that we would have an idea of where to go... cause we'll be there for a few days. Anything will help! Attractions, restaurants, beaches... etc...What to do in San Diego in August after my boyfriend graduates from Marine boot camp??
If you've never been here, there's so much to do and see, it really just depends on your interests and budget. Balboa park is great. The beaches. The Gaslamp District. Old Town. Coronado, too many great restaurants to count., Belmont Park. You should go to your local bookstore and get a travel guide on San Diego. That way you can pick out a few things that look interesting to you. Look for one that has a map of the city with it, that way you can figure out where things are in relation to eachother.
Drive to LA and visit the Holocaust Museum. What to do in San Diego in August after my boyfriend graduates from Marine boot camp??
Old Town is awesome many nice restaurants. Balboa park, San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park is nice. La Jolla for the beaches... So much to do in San Diego and Oh yeah! Coronado Beach is awesome too!
Try to go on a Harbor Cruise, they are so much fun, and can be very romantic. I know that one of the charters is named Hornblower. They also have whale watching tours.
sea world, lego land, disney land(in Anaheim bout 1 1/2 hour drive) , beach, movies, harbor, balboa park(go on sundays though), San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park
Definitly go to the beach. i live about an hour from Diego and i drive there all the time. the weather is beautiful and the beaches are super clean.
