What is the best restaurant to eat at that is in, or around, downtown san diego?

so im fairly new to san diego, but want to take my girlfriend out to dinner somewhere around downtown san diego this upcoming weekend. so i was wondering what would be a great place to take her to. i am willing to spend a fair amount of money for a legit meal (80 bucks for the two of us is my max), but not over the top ridiculous amount of money.

i just went to Monsoon and it was AMAZING such good Indian food (which is amazing anyways) and great atmosphere...and just realy amazing food!!!

Old Town Mexican Cafe is lots of fun. While waiting for your seat you can watch women making authentic flour and corn tortillas. Wish I had some right now!!!!!
The best place 2 eat in downtown San Diego is Mandarin Dynasty. I don't know the address, but it has really good chinese food and fried rice. :)
