Your options are probably going to be either Denny's or something ridiculously expensive. I know it's frustrating, but probably the most efficient way to do this would be to go online (http://www.sandiegorestaurants.com/ ), look for restaurants that interest you/are by the beach, have beach or seaside in their name and have a decent rating, and give them a call to ask whether or not they're open. Look for ones in La Jolla or Del Mar, that's probably your best bet.

Charlie's in Del Mar. Try Seaport Village at the end of Broadway and the Gas lamp district at 5th and Broadway
