I taking my boyfriend there on a trip for his birthday and he loves sushi, which I don't eat since I'm a vegetarian. What would you recommend? What is the price range / atmosphere / etc?What sushi restaurant would you recommend for a romantic birthday dinner in the La Jolla / San Diego area?
I would recommend dining at Cafe Japengos. Sushi is top notch. Probably one of the best in the county. Its located near I-5 and La Jolla Village Dr by the Hyatt. You better make a reservation also.
